In Siddharth Goswami’s debut album, Acidic Base delivers high-quality EDM on Purple Skies. The album overall carries the just right amount level of synthesized beats mixed with the carefully orchestrated sound. Standout tracks on Purple Skies include Halycon which has the perfect balance of synth soul vibes and the undertone beat you hear in a lot of nostalgic galaxy rock. Another favorite on the album points in the direction of the song Blurred. It reminds me of old school LCD Soundsystem, Justice, and a dash of Ratatat. All of these bands are leaders within electronica and dance music, which should definitely let Acidic Base know they are on the right track for being in alignment with making their name known as one to watch within the genre.
