Post Death Soundtrack Brings Dark Vibes With Album It Will Come Out Of Nowhere

19 Feb

Hailing from Vancouver and encompassing the world of metal and experimental rock, Post Death Soundtrack makes audiences excited to hear more from their album It Will Come Out of Nowhere. Releasing their single Chosen Sons earlier in the year, Post Death Soundtrack has been busy working for this new release of music. Listeners will hear the specific sound that they use in their songs alongside the musical instruments they use to create a layer of atmospheric ambience. With guitars, bass, synthesizers, and other sounds, their instrument choice is intentional. Originally in the band’s infancy when it was solely Kenneth Buck and Steve Moore, a lot of their music was political focused and over the top sarcasm accompanied the tracks as well. Their sound is best compared to Skinny Puppy, Ministry, and Portishead. The sounds of Bowie, 70s Rock, and psychedelic electronica all further in describing Post Death Soundtrack.  Standout songs from this newly released album include Ramona Hills and Fallout.  For those wanting to listen to the dark and grunge inspired sounds of this band, grab your headphones and take a listen. Be prepared to be transported to another dimension filled with all that your electronica metal psychedelic heart could ever want.

Post Death Soundtrack Explores The Inner Workings of Life, Emotion, and Connection

25 Jul

With the sounds of Post Death Soundtrack only to be described as pure and dark, this Canadian band does not disappoint in their latest album. Possessing the musical characteristics of modern industrial rock, Post Death Soundtrack also offers listeners a chance at exploring the deep complexities of life and emotion. With members of Kenneth Buck, Steve Moore, and Jon Ireson, Post Death Soundtrack unites together on the album, The Unlearning Curve. The song, Beauty Eyes I Adore (Dark Highway Mix) stands out on the album with themes of over adoration, love, and the blurred lines of perception within the track itself. The track opens with a mysterious, yet serene sound at first, keeping listeners ears open wide. With lyrics heavy on soul, bleeding hearts, and the effects of a gaze, the theme of connections presents itself as well. Overall the album, The Unlearning Curve does not disappoint with its deep narratives about healing, soul transformation, and the workings of a dreaming mind as well.

Post Death Soundtrack Brings Listeners In A Dreamworld

4 May

Hailing from Canada, Post Death Soundtrack does not disappoint with its new wave trip hop sound.  Set to release May 27th, a standout track from their upcoming album entitled The Unlearning Curve holds David Bowie undertones and elements of new wave. You Can’t Go Back delves deep into a narrative of a wandering mind, with poignant lyrics such as “you can’t go back, the system is out of order, and we all throw our hands out”. Further making references to falling in a rabbit hold will make the listener think they are reminded of Alice In Wonderland and the merging of reality and dreaming collide. Within the track as well are references to serpents as well, perhaps alluding to a forbidden fruit concept as well in such a simple, yet complex track. If you are wanting to listen to a band that has classical influences mixed with some new age thinking, The Unlearning Curve from Post Death Soundtrack should be next on your musical playlist.
