The Rightly So Combines The Feelings Of Nostalgia & Memories In Their Brand New Album Vandura

22 Sep

If you set your play button ready to fill your headphones with music from The Rightly So, the nomadic and expressive feeling that will emerge shortly after from their album Vandura should bring no surprise on how it was inspired. The band members spent the last year and half living out of their RV playing shows, singing songs, and living life as one big adventure. As you can imagine, being on the road has allowed this band to have a worldly view based on the experiences along the way, people they have encountered, and their perception of the world. When listeners hear their music, they will immediately think of The Weepies and even country undertones of the early days of Lee-Ann Rimes. With lyrics that draw on the day to day, there is a strong strength in their songs that has grit and angst. In the track, You Can Bet on Me, the lyrics “You can bet on me, we talked to 4 in the morning, oh lord how I missed your crooked smile” paints the pictures beautifully of characteristics of a person and a narrative as well. The captivating part about this duo is the level of authenticity they bring to their music. With that, the powerful visuals in the songs, and the light and traditional sounds of classic acoustic rock fill this album in all of its splendor.
