Patrick Ames releases his newest single Reawakened 2020 and channels the theme of change and equality. Definitely drawing inspiration from the world and the political climate, Ames integrates the power of our voice. In terms of when he wrote it, he actually wrote this back in January 2017 during the Inauguration Day for Trump. With the style being sung in that of  Rockhouse Gospel, the power of the words and the vocals being full of spirit, listeners want more from Ames. The mix of Ames and Jon Ireson’s guitars add even more texture to this song. Standout lyrics such as the hour has come for the power of belief reiterates how the power of change and fighting for what we stand for is here to stay. By banding together on shared beliefs and justice, we as a world can take inspiration from Reawakened 2020 and march on to bring a new start all of us want to see begin.

GEA Sings With Her Heart First In Newly Released EP Snow

20 Apr

GEA is a master storyteller as she crafts her songs with her unique sound. With her EP Snow, there is a mixture of easy listening tunes and heavier ones as well.  The song Snow itself was influenced by a death of her friend. The story is of a young boy who tells his mother that he came to the world to be a snow angel. Fast forward 10 years later, and he passed away when their town got the first snow of Winter. Linking up that song with the way GEA delivers the memoriam is breathtakingly heartfelt. The musical arrangement is that of another world, with piano, violin, and synthy dream pop working together to yield a galaxy signature sound. Additionally, when listeners pair up GEA with similar artists she spans more than Nordic rock, but also can be put in the categories of EDM, Indie Pop, Dream-Pop. Only gaining recognition in September 2017 with her music, she has been nominated by the NBT Music Radio in Germany for that album and many others ever since including Hollywood Intl Golden Film Award Best Soundtrack Award for other songs. Hard work pays off as she recently released her single Time at SXSW this March and her showcase was completely sold out. By the power of connection and having a pure and organic sound, listeners recognize that GEA is unapologetically herself and the popularity follows.

Danny Dosha Brings Soul & Rock In Single Kelsey2

25 Nov

The track Kelsey2 mixes old school soul with new rock and roll from Danny Dosha. Being heavily inspired by hip-hop, 90s, and even Jazz, Dosha brings an eclectic sound to his music. Halfway through the single, listeners are carried away with the vocals of Danielle Lee and overall atmosphere of the tone of the track. With Dosha having his audience get carried away in the sound of the single, it allows them to go on an experience. The guitar riffs and traits of ambient rock truly give his music an unique sound. In terms of the origins of the name for the song, it hails from the admiration of cello player Kelsey Lu. Having only been the one creating the music for 7 years, Dosha sounds like he’s been making music his whole life.
